We’re continuing our sustainability journey, sharing best practices 🌎🌿💡 Our Concept Store in Shanghai recently hosted a United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) delegation - including leading companies from the energy, technology, and fast-moving consumer goods sectors. The visit included discussions and shared experiences on how to reach net-zero as well as an exclusive preview of the upcoming Grundfos NET-ZERO LAB. Grundfos joined the UNGC in 2002 with the aim to actively further the global green transition.

💡💧 EU’s light industries can save up to 50-75% water if a full circular approach is implemented (reduce, reuse, and reclaim). 📄 This is a key finding in a new whitepaper from Grundfos based on an analysis made by Ramboll. These water savings equal the annual consumption of 67 million households, making water circularity a key strategy to reduce water stress while increasing companies’ competitiveness and resilience. The study finds that we already have the technology available. Now, to unlock the water saving potential, a smart overall EU strategy that addresses water stress holistically and sustainably is urgently needed. Thirsty? 🚰 How far away are you from the nearest water source? A few meters? 100 meters? 5 kilometers? Walking 5 kilometers to get clean water was the reality in Burundi – and this remains the case in many countries. Our work of bringing safe and clean water in Burundi with NGO Amazi Water has been captured in the new film, Our Blue World: A Water Odyssey. Along with fellow leading companies and organisations within the water industry, ‘Our Blue World’ will explore humanity’s profound relationship with water and reveal how human agency can help rebalance the planet’s water systems.
